Women’s Meetings

Women’s Meetings
It was a change of scene for our April meeting. This time, 46 of us headed for the Golf Club at Culcabock to have what has become our annual high tea. All suitably dressed with no denims or trainers in sight we were welcomed into the club by one male golf member (Archie didn’t seem to mind taking on this required role!) and took our seats around tables overlooking the lovely view of the golf course. Once we had tackled the difficult task of choosing from the extensive menu we could sit back and relax and enjoy the opportunity to chat with one another and get to know unacquainted faces. By the sound of voices and laughter the evening was enjoyed and appreciated by all, especially when cooking, washing up or putting the children to bed were further from our minds. It is good to have times of fellowship where shared interests bring us closer together and our high tea helped to do that. Our next meeting is on May 6th when David Friend a city goldsmith will speak about his work and his Christian life. Do come along if you are free.
